Step 2: Steps To Install Or Configure Linksys Router
Make sure your computer is connected to the router.
Open a web browser and go to the router's configuration page.
Enter "Smart Wi-Fi Connection Settings".
The router will now try to find the correct connection settings automatically.
If you are not using a modem from your ISP but are connected directly to the router, you may need to enter a username and password. If necessary, contact your ISP.
In the "Network name" box, type the name you want to give your wireless network. If "_5 GHz" is added after the name, the 5 GHz network name is created automatically. Enter the password for the wireless network in the "Network password" field.
"Router configured!" Screen. This means that the Linksys router has been configured correctly. The router displays an overview of the settings. Click "Next" to complete the setup.
The last step is to create a Linksys Smart WiFi account. This account is used to manage your router with the Linksys smartphone app. If you want to do this, it is recommended that you log into your account immediately.
