Bhatwal Surgical & Maternity Hospital began it’s medical operations, back in the year 1986. With with the virtue of dedicated & ethical practice, Dr. Shriram Bhatwal and Dr. Gayatri Bhatwal made the mark in the field of General Surgery & Obstetrics & Gynaecology over a period of 3 decades. by the team for a period of about 3 decades, the hospital earned popularity in it’s vicinity as well as distant places. The Hospital is located in Dhule, Maharashtra (India). Together they dreamed of evolving their practice with time and coming up with treatments for their patients that would be armed with cutting edge technology. In spite of being functional in a town like Dhule, Dr. Shriram R. Bhatwal and Dr. Gayatri S. Bhatwal proved to be the pioneers in bringing laparoscopy & endoscopic surgery as well as obstetrics sonography for the Khandesh region of Maharahtra, India.
Dr. Bhatwal’s son Dr. Aaditya Bhatwal, MCh Surgical Gastroenterologist (1st in North Maharashtra) & daughter-in-law Dr. Pallavi Bhatwal, MS (Ob/Gy), Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine chose to be the successors of Dr. Shriram Bhatwal and Dr. Gayatri Bhatwal. They began their journey in 2016 as young doctors with a commitment of serving the people of Dhule, giving another strong arm to Bhatwal Surgical & Maternity Hospital.
Dr. Aaditya Bhatwal also began “Uttar Maharashtra Institute of Digestive Sciences”- (UMID = उमीद) to cater to the population with advanced & targeted treatments for Gastrointestinal disorders. Surgical Gastroenterology being the latest & most advanced field of surgical medicine, deals with the disorders of digestive system viz Oesophagus (Food pipe), Stomach & Duodenum (Food bag), Small Intestinal (Bowel), Large Intestine (Colon) including rectum, along with Liver, Pancreas & Gall bladder. He is passionate about advanced laparoscopic surgery and so has began the Laparoscopic Bariatric surgeries, Hernia surgeries, Colorectal surgeries, Upper G.I. surgeries & open Liver & Pancreas surgeries in his geography of operation.
Dr. Pallavi Bhatwal is also an highly skilled obstetrician & gynecologist with special interest in infertility treatment & has dedicated Test tube baby Lab (AARTI)(Agusavi Assisted Reproductive and Test Tube baby Institute) under the wings of Bhatwal Surgical & Maternity Hospital. Since the last 4 years, she has been successful in bringing a smile on the faces of couples and has greatly contributed to their moment of happiness.
