Company Details

Integrated Development Trust is an N.G.O. which is giving support, training and work in the field of crafts to Indian disadvantaged women from rural areas of Anantapur District in Andhra Pradesh. In 2001, the 1st workshop was founded in order to give support to the local women against discrimination, to allow their emancipation and empowerment, as well as to offer to many of them a residency and to cover their daily expenses or making sure that their homes are in good conditions to produce from home. In addition, all of them are receiving basic education, medical supervision, tools for their integration and a full time job with continuous training programs. Our wide range of products includes: bags, purses, cloth, belts, scarfs, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, stationary, games, home decoration, Christmas decoration, etc. Since 2002, IDT is selling their products at its own shop in Anantapur, and started exporting most of their products to Spain in 2003. Since 2011, IDT seeks to expand its market by attending flea markets and exhibitions in Bangalore and primarily by looking for distributors to sell their fair trade products all over India. Since 2016, IDT is working on the online sales through the own website and different distributors in order to create a direct relationship with their customers. Our trust not only intends achieve business fairness and assures no exploitation, but is also making a great effort and working for the community, fighting against discrimination and believing in a social change. Our goals are much more than producing popular products, obtaining revenues and profits and offering full time jobs to these women. Nowadays, the program serves six different workshops, giving this great chance to more than 250 women. They are specialized in:
