Our teachers also have the capability of customizing classes according to your health needs. A disease may originate from the mind and go into the body, or it may originate in the body and affect the mind.. No disease is purely somatic or psychic, either it is born on account of the imbalance of prana or the imbalance of mind. Therefore, in hatha yoga, what we are trying to do is to create a balance, to bring both the energies into a balanced state, and thereby allow the healing to take place. A typical class is 1 to 1.5 hours in duration which normally contains Asanas invigorate the body, improve health and flexibility, and remove energy blockages and tension. Aim of pranayama is to awaken, balance and expand the prana (vital energy) in the body. Mudras (yogic gestures) and bandhas (energy locks) may also be included in more advanced courses to further deepen and enhance the flow of prana. Sathkarma(Yogic cleasing) used to practice seperately as per need. People teaching and learning fads of yoga only to satisfy their curiosity, and not with the intention or interest to make it a part of life or sadhana. In this manner, everybody has focused on practices and not on stabilizing their understanding and experience of yoga.
